In addition, she was a fan of traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves opera and tangos, as well as the dramatic shows that she attends. She was taught by her mother to sing, however she started more intense vocal training with Flavio Belcerra at 16 when he was a renowned Mexican opera singer and tenor. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. When she was a student, as well when she was a professional young in Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups and choruses. After moving from Mexico to the United States in 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and is a performer of Latin American traditional music solo in a variety of private occasions. The passion and love she has for music, art, and performing has her involved with a variety of local initiatives as a performer and teacher.
